Real Estate Tax Reminders

County and Township real estate tax bills:

We know there is fraud all over the world today, we want residents to be aware that your real estate tax bills will have a different look starting with your County/Township bill that will be mailed out in the beginning of Match. The bills will be directly mailed from the company that is printing them and will be in a self-sealing mailing envelope that you will need to tear each side off to open. Please be on the lookout and DO NOT discard them as junk mail. Please look at the Spring 2025 Crossroad Newsletter for a picture of what your taxes will look like.

Jess Bradley, our real estate tax collector, will have office hours at her home located on 152 Willowbend Drive, Bellefonte PA 16823 on Tuesday’s from 5pm-7pm during March and April. Please call for an appointment if you are unable to go during her normal operating hours, (814)-574-5087. Jessica also has a drop box at her home for payments made outside of her normal business hours. If you would like a receipt with any payments that are being mailed you will need to include a self-addressed stamp envelope for a receipt to be returned.

Please keep in mind if you plan to file for a property tax/rent rebate you will need a tax receipt to complete your filling.

Returned check fees will be assessed at $25.00. Tax Certification $15, Mobile Home Tax Certification $10, and Duplicate bill fee $5. Please make review any checks being mailed to insure all the necessary information is filled with the correct amount, date, and signature.
