Invoices for the new service will start to arrive to our residents mid-March and will be addressed from CCRRA. It will have all billing information along with a newsletter with important contact number for questions and ways to pay your bill.

Recycling will continue to be collected on the same day as your refuse in the red bin you have been using. 

Leaf collection will start on October 30th and will continue until inclement weather.  If you still have leaves after our pickup concludes, you may take them to the Bellefonte Composting facility located along Musser Lane in Bellefonte (Near Home Delivery Pizza). This facility will accept grass, leaves and brush. 

Bulk Waste Pick Up Information

With the new garbage contract, bulk collection has changed too. Small bulk iteams should go in your cart every week. There are two different types of bulk collection included in your service now:

1. Large Bulk items (furniture, rugs, etc) will be collected “on demand”. You can schedule 2 bulk collections per year for a total of 4 large bulk items per year. Call or email CCRRA after April 14th to get this scheduled.

2. Bulk Recyclables will be collected “on demand” . You can schedule 2 bulk recycling collections per year, for a total of 4 large recyclable items per year. Including appliances, covered-device electronic such as TVs and computers, and car tires (4 car tires, no rim is 1 item). Call after April 14th.

The collection of additional bulk items or recyclable may be scheduled for an extra fee. We will have those cost posted on www.crcog.net/bulk .

Bellefonte Composting facility is open to Benner Residents for the disposal of compostable material ONLY(grass clippings, brush, limbs, etc.). The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday’s 6a-2p and Friday’s 6a-1p. They will have Saturday hours beginning April 5, 2025 through Saturday November 22, 2025 from 8a-12p. There will be NO Saturday hours after Novemeber 22, 2025 until further notice.

CCRRA accepts at NO charge desktops, laptops, and server computers along with keyboards, mice, speakers, cellphones, iPads, Tablets, PDAs, TVs, Monitors, desktops printers/desktops copiers, cabels/wiring.

Tires are also collected at the following rates:

• Residental personal automotive & small truck tires: $84 per ton/$25 min.
• Commercial entities/truckloads $150 per ton/$25min.
• Oversized tires (44in diameter or larger): $30 per tire (plus per ton disposal fee)
• Dirty Tires: $350 per ton/$25 min.
